Welcome to the Bust Your Stash Crochet-a-long! I am so happy that you are here! We’re going to dwindle those stashes whether the stash likes it or not. We’ll walk away with some lovely handmade items. If you haven’t already, head here to join the High Desert Yarn Handmade Community on Facebook, We’ll be able to encourage each other and share all of our lovely makes during this CAL. Enough of the chit chat, let’s get down to business!

We’re starting with Worsted Weight (category 4) yarn.
Ah… worsted weight yarn.. where would all the yarnies be without you?? You’re the perfect beginner yarn, come in all sorts of materials and colors, and by far the least expensive of the lot (at least in my personal research). Many, many, many pattens are written with you in mind, and you’re fairly quick to get stitched up. Thank you for your constant loyalty to all the fiber artists out there.
If your stash looks anything like mine, you probably have oodles of it! This way if you’re low on any of the other weight categories, you’ll be able to keep working on the worsted weight during the other weeks. Or you can always take that week off! I’m a big fan of breaks.
Here are 7 (free + paid) Worsted Weight Patterns I gathered for y’all.
