Crochet Patterns for Valentine’s Day

Valentine’s Day is right around the corner! Check out this roundup of crochet patterns for Valentine’s Day to start sharing the love with your friends and family.

Valentine’s Day is one of my favorite holidays. It’s simple and celebrates handmade gifts. Do you remember decorating shoe boxes as a kid? Or helping your (grand)child make one? This year my oldest gets to make his first shoe box for school, and I’m beyond excited!

My parents made Valentine’s Day special by leaving a small heart-shaped box of chocolate, and cards on the kitchen table each year. I treasured these little gifts, and their love, as a child! Now, my mom still makes a handmade card, and pops it in the mail. My family loves a simple, handmade Valentine’s Day gift!

Let this roundup of Crochet Patterns for Valentine’s Day inspires you to celebrate with a simple, handmade gift.

Last year, I decided to put my crochet skills to use, and designed the Mini Heart Wall Hanging. I made about six last year to send to the grandparents, and give to my son’s school teachers. It’s a simple act to give something handmade, but it can be so impactful! My hope is that they felt loved, and continue to know how much we appreciate them every time they look at the crocheted gift.
