  • US Crochet Terms used throughout.
  • CH 1 the beginning of the row does NOT count as a stitch.
  • Stitch multiple is 2+1.
  • The first 2 rows, and stitch counts throughout, reference the Rainbow Blanket Crochet Pattern designed by Juniper & Oakes and High Desert Yarn.

Stitch Abbreviations

MC – Main Color
CC – Contrasting Color
SC – Single Crochet
HDC – Half Double Crochet
DC – Double Crochet
CH – Chain
ST(S) – Stitch(es)
SK – Skip
REP – Repeat

Written Instructions

Rows 1-2: In MC, CH 1, HDC in first st and each st across, turn. (132 sts)
Row 3: In CC, CH 1, HDC in first st, *SK st, SC in next st, DC in the SK st, rep from * until 1 st remains, HDC in last st, turn. (132 sts)
Rep Row 3 until the section measures 4”.
End on an EVEN row.
Fasten off and weave in ends.
