It’s Better with Three – Learn the Triplets Crochet Stitch Here

Inside – In this blog post, you will learn how to crochet the Triplets Crochet Stitch with written instructions and a video tutorial.

The Triplets Crochet Stitch reminds me of a Basketweave Stitch. I adore the groupings of 3 Post Double Crochets, and how they alternate to create an ultra-textured crocheted fabric. This stitch is used in Section 9 of the Rainbow Crochet Blanket. Curious about the Rainbow Blanket Pattern? Learn more here.

Reasons to love the Triplets Crochet Stitch

  • Makes an adorable basketweave like texture
  • Uses the Double Crochet stitch to work up fast
  • Adds whimsy to a crocheted project
